ESPN asked 15 coaches, scouts and managers in the league a number of questions ahead of the upcoming season, and the answers show some of the interest we can expect.
First, to the question of who is the best player in the league right now, there is a pretty clear consensus: Giannis Antetokounmpo, who won 11 votes.

But that's not all.
The group of respondents estimated that even in five years, at the age of 32, Giannis will be the best player in the league - in this case, when he won seven votes, he was ahead of Luka Doncic (six votes) and Jayson Tatum (two).
"Every time you think he's reached a certain ceiling, he smashes it," said one league executive, "why don't we watch him continue to do that?"
About Doncic, one of the scouts said: "It's hard to bet against him. There are some concerns about his fitness, but I'm not ready to bet on anyone else."
Giannis is also the favorite to win the title of MVP of the coming season, according to the respondents, with five votes - one more than Doncic and Joel Embiid.
Stephen Curry and Jay Morant each received one vote.
Nikola Jokic, who received the award the last two years, did not receive a single vote.
Milwaukee is also the pollster's favorite to win the East Championship together with Boston - both received seven votes each, with Miami receiving the additional vote.
However, the favorite for the league championship is actually the Los Angeles Clippers, who received five votes - one more than the Bucks and Celtics.
Golden State won two votes, while Brooklyn, which received seven votes last year, settled for zero this time.
