In the district league 2 there is a lot going on this match day: ASV Habach welcomes Pöcking, Peißenberg is a guest in Ohlstadt and Polling has a basement duel ahead of him.

District – Four match days and thus already a third of the games have already been completed in district league 2.

As predicted by many, an exciting fight for the first three places is emerging, which will bring early relegation and entry into the promotion round.

Four hot contenders, all of whom have seven points, will meet head-to-head this weekend.

ASV Habach meets SC Pöcking with the same number of points

"It was a stumbling block, not a broken leg," said Markus Vogt, coach of ASV Habach, after the 1-1 draw in Waldram.

However, he has learned a few lessons from this avoidable draw against the supposed outsider.

"We saw that a few percent less is not enough," says Vogt.

He expects full commitment from his eleven in this Saturday's home game against SC Pöcking-Possenhofen (3 p.m.).

In any case, the Habacher trailers offered that in Waldram.

"It was a real witch's cauldron," says Vogt, who hopes that the ASV fans will cheer on their team again so loudly against the relegated district league.

"The support from outside makes a difference," Vogt is convinced.

He classifies Pöcking as a mature, playfully and tactically good team.

In terms of personnel, he cannot draw from the full against the opponent who is tied on points and who recently had a few vacation-related absences during the guest appearance in Peißenberger.

Benedikt Heckmeier and Sammy Schatten are still missing.

Michael Baumgartner and Stefan Kirnberger have left for vacation.

Vogt therefore has to rebuild his starting eleven.

Still, he expects his team to win.

"This small league doesn't allow two Strauchler in a row," Vogt makes clear.

TSV Peißenberg makes a guest appearance at SV Ohlstadt

TSV Peißenberg only won six times in the entire past season, in which they just avoided relegation.

Two of these successes came against SV Ohlstadt, which many experts believe is capable of a lot this season.

With seven points from three games, the Werdenfelsers have confirmed this assessment so far.

"I rate Ohlstadt better than Habach," says TSV trainer Michael Stossberger, who is a guest at SVO this Saturday (4 p.m.).

"A robust and compact team that can rumble for 90 minutes," says Stossberger about the Ohlstadt team, who have a good mix of young and experienced players and who have been given an experienced head instructor in coach fox Stefan Schwinghammer.

In terms of personnel, things are looking a little worse for the Peißenbergers than last time at home against Pöcking.

Valentin Hörndl plays ice hockey with the "Miners", Ramon Messner is on vacation.

In addition, Hannes Kunterweit falls out.

"I'll probably take over his role," explains Stossberger, who still has to do without the injured playmaker Johannes Jungmann.

"We have to be compact and we'll get our chances on offense," said Stossberger.

"We're going to Ohlstadt to score points."

SV Polling goes into a basement duel against DJK Waldram

In the last test match before the start of the season, SV Polling showed a strong performance against Utting.

Everything seemed to be set for a successful start to the season.

But then came the 3:4 defeat against Peißenberg, which gave the SVP a crack.

"The game was the trigger why it didn't work afterwards," analyzed Polling's coach Michael Schöttl.

Further defeats against Pöcking (2:5) and Ohlstadt (1:5) followed - that's what you call a veritable false start.

"It wasn't the training, the lads were really into it," reported Schöttl, who used the last weekend without a game to work up the messed-up first games.

"We're just starting over now," says Schöttl, who without exception is looking ahead.

The basement duel at DJK Waldram, which like SVP is still without a win, is ahead of the Pollingers this Saturday (3 p.m.).

However, the DJK gained self-confidence with the last draw against Habach.

Exactly what the Pollingers are currently missing.

There will be some changes in the squad.

Simon and Maximilian Hensel are missing, as are the Schimpl brothers.

Max Baumgartner's commitment is questionable.

Captain Sebastian Gößl and keeper Fabian Faltermeier return to the starting XI after a long break.
