Eintracht Frankfurt U21 is at the top of the Hessenliga

Eintracht Frankfurt's U21s are the new leaders in the Hessen Football League.
On Friday evening, coach Kristjan Glibo's protégés defeated the previous leader Türk Gücü Friedberg 5:2 (2:2) in front of 1650 spectators in the Dreieich sports park.
It was a high-quality game in which the guests started very well, but then suffered their first defeat after 18 unbeaten competitive games.
The guests took the lead from a corner kick through Alit Usic (9') and then had a huge chance to score the second goal through Noah Michel's header.
Eintracht came into play sluggishly and needed a penalty kick, which Marc Wachs converted confidently as usual (24th) to get going.

The long-range shot by the Brazilian Divaio Bobson, which went in at an angle to make it 2-1 (33rd), was great.
But Friedberg also contributed a lot to a class game and equalized before the break through Toni Reljic (41st).
After the change of sides, Reljic hit the post with a free kick, the yellow-red card against Friedberg's defensive giant Masih Saighani (60th), who saw the yellow card in the first half for complaining, was decisive for the outcome of the game.

After that, Wachs could have taken another penalty and probably scored, but he let Marcel Wenig go first, who shot the ball over the goal with ease (79').
Substitute Gianluca Schäfer went it alone to make it 4:2 (85') before Jan-Philipp Hauser from Friedberg scored an own goal in added time (90'+2') and rounded off the bitter outcome of the game for the guests.
After the final whistle, Eintracht coach Kristjan Glibo didn't agree with the initial phase in particular: "We have to defend standards better, we were too naive there.
