The SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz has brought in the second win of the season in the Regionalliga Südwest.

After falling behind early on, Bahlinger SC was fully deservedly defeated 4:1 (2:1).

Bahlinger SC played for the first time in Johannisau, but was already a topic of conversation in East Hesse in 2015 when TSV Lehnerz made representations in the promotion round to the Regionalliga Südwest at the Kaiserstuhl.

In comparison to the 0:0 at TSG Balingen, baroque city coach Sedat Gören made one change.

Eric Ganime replaced Dominik Wüst in the starting XI, he acted alongside Patrick Schaaf on the sixth, Leon Pomnitz pushed himself into the tenth and Jan Lüdke came on the right flank.

Bahlinger SC started with the same line-up as seven days earlier at FSV Mainz 05 U23.

Regionalliga Südwest: Bahlinger SC surprises SG Barockstadt

The cold shower came for the baroque city right at the beginning of the game.

Captain Schaaf, the only player who was there in 2015, went too motivated into a duel with Bektasi.

Hasan Pepic used the good free-kick position to take the lead (6th).

And the ball was even better for Yannick Häringer, but SGB keeper Tobias Wolf was alert (11th).

The guest was well into the game, but then lost the thread and the baroque city got stronger by the minute.

The reigning Hessenliga champions were completely in the game in the middle of the first round.

The hosts took over the scepter, after smaller opportunities from Schaaf, Jonas Pfalz and Moritz Reinhard, it was the captain himself who ensured the equalizer.

A Pomnitz free kick sent Schaaf over the head – 1:1 (33rd).

The Fulda-Lehnerzer stayed tuned, their own style of play became more pleasing and successful combinations certainly had the applause of the spectators.

The fact that the baroque city turned the game completely before the break was deserved.

Within 90 seconds, things took a turn for the worse: Aaron Frey's header was scraped off the line by a guest player before the BSC counterattacked badly and missed the lead again.

The penalty followed promptly, Pomnitz banged under the bar from a tight angle after a one-on-one action to take the lead (41').

It was SGB's fourth goal of the season and also the first from the game.

Baroque town takes the wind out of Bahlingen's sails, Pomnitz a rascal

If Bahlingen was noticeably harder after the restart, the baroque city quickly pulled the plug on the guests.

Not Reinhard, who was offside after ten seconds, but central defender Marius Grösch made it 3:1 (55th).

Once again it was a penalty, a blackout from a corner by Bahlingen's Nico Gutjahr when he played volleyball instead of football.

The security was there, if Lüdke had still put it at 4:1, the game would have been decided after just an hour.

So the Gören-Elf had to stay alert, but hardly had any problems with Bahlingen.

Goal chances of the guests?

Not available for a long time.

Only Shqipon Bektasi's header brought danger (86th).

And so the end was reserved for Rascal Pomnitz, who took a free kick to the short corner with the final whistle and surprised everyone.

The 4:1 was also deserved at this level,

that Will Siakam remained pale on his home debut?

A nice side note.
