Youngster Leandro Morgalla has made his decision and wants to remain a lion.

Munich - At the age of 17 already a regular player in the 3rd division.

Leandro Morgalla is one of Germany's top talents in the position of central defender.

The young lion is not only set for Löwen coach Michael Köllner, U18 national coach Christian Wörns also relies on the defender.

Of course, that arouses the interest of other clubs.

But the junior national player does not even think about saying goodbye to Munich.

“I have already made a decision for myself.

I see my future at 1860," says Morgalla in an interview with "Bild" and looks forward to continuing to work with mentor Köllner: "I owe him a lot, he puts his trust in me, gives me the chance.

I've already noticed that it helps if you listen to him.

He is a very important reference person for me.”

The youngster wants to develop further on Grünwalder Straße, “in all areas.

For me, it's about gaining experience and sharpening my weapons.” The new defense chief, Verlaat, is helping him with this.

“Jesper is extremely important to me.

He takes the lead on the pitch, I can learn a lot.” He says he has also got tips from the Dutchman when it comes to nutrition.

If his form curve continues to point as steeply upwards as in the last few weeks and months, he will probably be unstoppable at some point like the Bender twins or Kevin Volland once did and at least fill the blue box office.

"That's not my issue.

There is still a very long way to go before it could happen at some point,” believes Morgalla.

Its market value is currently estimated at 300,000 euros.

With constant performance, the clubs from the 1st Bundesliga will take a closer look and the leap over the million mark is probably only a matter of time.
