SV Raisting won the important home game against TSV Großhadern.

A few personnel changes turned out to be a good decision.

Raisting – The current situation at SV Raisting could not have been better illustrated: A few minutes before the end, after a foul, Johannes Franz rolled on the ground.

Then he noticed that his shoes weren't whole anymore.

The expensive, few hundred euro kicks were torn on the side and therefore practically unusable.

A collateral damage in the attrition of the district league.

Because the replacement was still in the dressing room, the shoes were provisionally patched with adhesive tape.

Just went well again - exactly the right motto for this game.

With a 2-0 win, SV Raisting left the critical zone for the time being.

However, without convincing.

In the end, of course, none of that mattered.

Except coach Johannes Franz.

During the week, he can not only buy a new pair of cleated shoes, but also think about how to inject self-confidence into his players.

The uncertainty was palpable for everyone until the lead, says the player-coach.

The spectators would also have seen: "There is a team on the pitch, peppered with good footballers, but they are not up to par." He tried every trick to downplay this duel, to give it the importance take.

It didn't want to work.

"The boys are not stupid, they see that both are tied," says Franz.

Pure relegation battle with bad passes and fouls

Raisting choked his way to success from start to finish – and because Großhadern was just as paralyzed by the pressure, exactly what nobody wanted to bring about developed.

Pure relegation battle, with bad passes, stick mistakes, small and large nicknames, fouls.

The large number of offenses can also be attributed to referee Pascal Hohberger, who drew a petty line that was completely untypical for this league and hardly allowed physical contact.

"A danger, because Großhadern has enormous quality when it comes to set pieces," says Franz. Nevertheless, his team was unscathed.

Despite all the mental blockages, Raisting did not forget the main task: defending.

Maybe that was due to the failure of all full-backs.

The substitutes Gianluca Zandt (an offensive player) and Maximilian König are active in other positions,

interpreted their parts - probably out of fear of making mistakes - very, very defensively.

"Definitely not a mistake," says Franz.

Another risky personal move finally made for the all-important threesome.

Up front, coach Franz chose the two boys, Vinzenz Wolf and Sinan Grgic.

His thought process behind it: Youthful lightness as an antidote for tense heads.

“You can play free.

Others have the pressure.” Franz hammered this message into his youngest – the roulette game worked out.

The two youngsters scored both goals.

At 1:0, the Raistinger Wolf played free with a pass in depth.

He won his running duel, delayed a little and finished with a shot into the near corner.

Slightly raised so that the goalkeeper can no longer put his foot on the ball.

"Very well placed," praised the coach.

Sinan Grgic's goal was the result of good game preparation.

The SVR knew about goalkeeper Fabio Gossler's preferences for risky excursions.

So Maximilian König pressed him early and forced an unclean pass.

Grgic used the ball flat on the left.

Those were the next evolutionary stages of the two in their development to district league strikers.

The "high risk" paid off.

Raisting has yet to score two goals this season.

From that point of view things are going uphill.
