Al-Wahda and Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly Aleppo teams qualified for the final match of the Republic Cup competition for men’s basketball, after their victory over Al-Jalaa and Al-Karama, respectively, in the two semi-final matches that were held today at the Martyr Nasih Alwani Sports Hall in Hama.
In the first match, Al-Wahda beat Al-Jalaa with a score of 70-63 after he advanced in the first quarter 26-10, but Al-Jalaa beat him in the second quarter by 19-10 and in the third 15-13. points.
In the second match of the semi-final round, Al-Ahly of Aleppo defeated Al-Karama with a score of 65-60 points and reserved a seat for it in the final, which will be held the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Martyr Nasih Alwani Sports Hall, knowing that Al-Jalaa is the holder of the title of the last edition of the cup competition.
Al-Wahda reached the semi-finals after beating Al-Wathba team in the quarter-finals, while Al-Ahly Aleppo qualified for the same round at the expense of the army.
