That hurt!

Felix Maassen (lying) and his TSV Siegsdorf in Finsing lost 4-1.

Stefan Gasda, Thomas Götzberger, Valentin Bachmeier and Leonhard Hölzl (red jerseys, from left) were not only better in terms of fighting, but also better in terms of play.

Finsing

– Before the game, assistant coach Stefan Gasda wished for a better chance conversion and that the home game against TSV Siegsdorf would end with eleven players.

He should get both.

In a racy district league game, the Finsingers defeated the guests deservedly with 4:1 goals and then celebrated their second win of the season at the autumn festival.

The approximately 120 spectators saw an aggressive and well-disposed home team, which was rewarded with the opening goal in the 4th minute.

Markus Rickhoff extended a pass from Marco Batljan with the back of his head and found Philipp Tholl completely free in the penalty area.

His powerful shot hit the left corner from eleven meters in the half-right position.

The Siegsdorfer immediately pushed for the equalizer and came up with good chances through Felix Maassen and Paul Glassl, who, however, just missed the goal.

Scorer Stefan Mauerkirchner did a better job, appearing completely free in front of Finsing's goalkeeper Philipp Strunk after an unsuccessful tackle by Valentin Bachmeier and deliberately slotted into the right corner.

After that, both teams neutralized each other in a combative and playfully very appealing game.

After the tea break, the game picked up speed again.

And just like in the first half, Tholl quickly scored the lead with a remarkable direct acceptance from the edge of the penalty area after another assist from Rickhoff.

In the 57th minute he could have put together a hat-trick, but guest keeper Fabian König blocked the shot from close range.

20 minutes before the end, Finsing's coach Bernd Häfele took the double goal scorer off the field and brought on Manuel Fuchs.

He had only been on the pitch for a few minutes when he completed Finsinger's finest attack with the goal to make it 3-1.

The ball came to Maxi Eberhart on the right wing over four stations, each with just one ball contact.

He circled a cross right on the head of the substitute thoroughbred striker.

The ball hit the right post from eight yards out.

The guests put everything on one card, but only managed to hit the post by Maaßen from a good 35 meters.

Shortly before the final whistle it was Fuchs again who scored the final score after a cross from Christian Hennel, who was also on the bench.
