Changeable debut in the Champions League season for the German representatives.

While Borussia Dortmund won against FC Copenhagen, RB Leipzig surprisingly lost to the Ukrainian representative Shakhtar Donetsk.

After the 4-0 league defeat in Frankfurt, RB coach Domenico Tedesco changed tactically and personally.

Five players were new in the starting XI and he switched to a back four.

One of those who remained in the team had the first chance of the game: "Germany's footballer of the year" Christopher Nkunku failed to Anatoliy Trubin (12th minute).

At the other end, goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi made a mistake: With a lot of time and space, he frittered away the ball in front of the penalty area – Marian Shved thanked him and scored to make it 0:1 (16th).

The advanced defender Mohamed Simakan equalized with a powerful shot into the right angle (57'), but only 81 seconds later the cold shower: Shved scored the guest lead again with a deflected ball (58').

Leipzig now played more openly and conceded more goals: Mykhailo Mudryk (76th) and Lassina Traoré (85th) made the Leipzig debacle perfect.

Five minutes were played when the Paris attacking stars worked their magic for the first time: Neymar lobbed the ball over Juve's defense to Kylian Mbappé, who volleyed into the far corner from a tight angle.

PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented Arkadiusz Milik's header from making it 1-1 (19').

Mbappé also completed the next combination of PSG attack which Marco Verratti opened with a pass to the Frenchman.

He clapped directly to Achraf Hakimi, got the ball back and increased it to 2-0 with a direct shot worth seeing (22nd).

Two ex-Bundesliga professionals brought Turin back into play: Filip Kostić (ex-Frankfurt) crossed to Weston McKennie (ex-Schalke), who benefited from the fact that Donnarumma had left his goal when he headed the goal (53.) .

But it wasn't enough for Juventus to equalize.

Manchester's new attacker Erling Haaland has nightmare status with the hosts: In the round of 16 2020/2021 he shot BVB into the quarterfinals with four goals against Sevilla.

So they knew what was coming, they couldn't defend it.

In the 20th minute, Kevin De Bruyne brought a ball sharply to the six-yard box and there – of course – Haaland pushed the ball over the line.

Sevilla plucked up all their courage at the beginning of the second half, acted offensively and conceded the 0: 2: Phil Foden made the preliminary decision with his goal (58th), Haaland increased to 0: 3 (67th).

Rúben Dias completed the game (90' + 2').

It's a festive season for Celtic Glasgow at the moment.

Last weekend, the club defeated old city rivals Rangers 4-0, and defending champions Real Madrid stopped by for the Champions League opener.

And the Scots continued to celebrate almost seamlessly after 21 minutes: Captain Callum McGregor chased the ball from 16 meters to the post, Thibaut Courtois would have had no chance to defend himself.

Real coach Carlo Ancelotti's worry lines became even deeper after 30 minutes: his goalkeeper Karim Benzema had to leave the pitch injured.

Real now valued stability and struck ice cold in the second half: Vinícius Júnior made it 1-0 (56'), Luka Modrić shortly afterwards increased it to 2-0 (60') in his 100th Champions League game. ).

Eden Hazard scored the 3-0 (77th) after a nice combination via Toni Kroos and Daniel Carvajal.

Benfica coach Roger Schmidt decided not to include newcomer Julian Draxler in the starting XI for his new club's first European game.

Without the German midfielder, the Lisbon club initially struggled against Maccabi Haifa, the first Israeli Champions League participant in seven years.

Only in the second round did Benfica win the game.

Left-back Alejandro Grimaldo was involved in both goals, first through his cross to Rafa Silva (49th).

The Spaniard made it 2-0 himself with a spectacular angle shot from 21 meters out (54').

Coach Thomas Tuchel's team fell behind at Dinamo Zagreb after just 13 minutes when speedy attacker Mislav Oršić came free from a long ball and lobbed past Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa.

Chelsea played better in the second half and almost equalised, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was ruled offside when he thought he had scored (50').

The Croatians almost made it 2-0, Kepa deflected Stefan Ristovski's long-range shot to the crossbar (56').

Chelsea's Reece James missed the best chance to equalize with a shot at the post (86').

The 1-0 win for Salzburg was worth seeing: Noah Okafor got the ball from Fernando on the left, dribbled and tunneled Milan's Pierre Kalulu in the process.

The already clumsy-looking central defender also fell down and watched Okafor finish successfully (28').

The Austrians played well, but the favorites hit back before the break.

After an advance on the left wing, the Portuguese attacking talent Rafael Leão played in the center to Alexis Saelemaekers, who delayed well and only had to push in (40th).

In injury time, Leão hit the post with a flick (90+4), so it was a draw.
