Maccabi Haifa fans in Lisbon (according to Article 27 of Copyright)

In just a few hours, Maccabi Haifa will open its performances in the group stage of the Champions League with an away game in Lisbon against the formidable Benfica.

However, even though it is an away game, the champion's loyal fans accompanied it in impressive numbers and provide their team with a home atmosphere.

The presence of the fans began to be felt already on the plane to Lisbon, in the pubs last night and today in the streets.

As a reminder, the owner of the club, Yaakov Shachar, will meet today with the legendary former player Roy Kushta, who currently serves as the president of Benfica Lisbon.

The two will meet for lunch together, as part of the tradition in the Champions League.
