Liel Abda has already proven that he is not afraid of the big stage and knows how to excel in real time, but his baptism of fire yesterday (Tuesday) in the Champions League was less successful.
The 20-year-old winger's factory debut in Celtic's 3-0 loss to Real Madrid was relatively lukewarm - especially considering his fantastic start to the season, with six goals in six league games.
Abeda had a reasonable first half, was signed for a miss in the first minutes, and was the first to be replaced by coach Ange Postecoglou at the start of the second half.
In the Scottish media, Abda was given relatively low marks.
In "Daily Record", Abdea received a score of 5. "Abdea was Celtic's hero against Rangers, but against Real Madrid he froze a bit. He was unlucky in his first scoring situation, and then he wasted another opportunity against Courtois."
On the "FootballScotland" website, Abdah also received a score of 5. "He created a great opportunity in the first minutes, but was a little out of step in the first half. It is not surprising that he was replaced at halftime."
A game that has a lot to learn from.

Outside of Scotland Abda also received compliments.
On the website "90MIN" they gave him a score of 5, but noted that "he reached the dangerous areas and caused problems for Real Madrid".
Ace commentator Bruno Almani noted during the game: "The player I liked the most in Celtic and who I think has the rosiest future in the team is Abeda."
