Before the duel with Inter Milan in the Champions League, Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann gets into raptures at Sadio Mané - and chats from the sewing box.
Munich – When the Champions League anthem sounds this Wednesday evening, Sadio Mané will celebrate his premier class premiere for Bayern Munich.
Opponent is Inter Milan.
And nothing less than goals are expected from Mané in Munich.
But not "witchcraft", as FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann emphasized at the press conference.
The fact is that Mané's goalscoring in the last two Bundesliga games (both 1-1, both without Mané's goal) worked so poorly.
Mané is currently recording its weakest graduation rate in five years, as
Sport1
recently reported.
But: half as wild.
As Nagelsmann now revealed on the PK, the Senegalese striker is not only characterized by his goals.

"I expect that he will pass on his experience to other players and live up to his claim to leadership," said the Bayern coach, setting out Inter's route.
Mané has "a special gift for leading a team - not even as a speaker," Nagelsmann enthused.
And: "I assume that he will be loud in the cabin tomorrow."
Mané always chooses his words carefully.
Nagelsmann revealed that the 30-year-old also took the floor in the dressing room in the Supercup against RB Leipzig (5: 3).
And so the FCB coach will hardly leave his star newcomer on the bench against Inter.
In addition, Mané has long been a crowd favorite.

But it is also clear: Mané is expected to score again at the San Siro in Milan.
There are five in total after seven competitive games, but most recently against Union he was almost ineffective.
It remains to be seen who will storm alongside Mané on Wednesday night.
After all, the Bayern squad is peppered with offensive stars.
"I've made a few decisions, but not yet for all eleven who start," Nagelsmann didn't allow himself to be looked at in the PK.
Mané is almost certainly one of the decisions that have already been made.
