Beitar Jerusalem was close to a debut victory this evening (Wednesday) at the 11A Stadium, but lost an advantage in the 95th minute as part of the completion game of Beit B in the Toto Cup, and lost a chance to qualify for the semi-finals.

The Jerusalemites came after 0:3 against the Ness Ziona section and continued the momentum with a good game by Ronen Hantzis and Stav Nachmani, who gave the Jerusalemites an early lead after two minutes.

Towards the end of the first half, Yaniv Mizrahi, on loan from Maccabi Netanya, scored with a tremendous shot and brought the teams to halftime with 1:1.

Ashdod, who lost the chance to qualify already in the previous round of the factory, continued to pressure the Aboxis team at the start of the second half.

It was Beitar who got on the scoreboard again when Ronan Hantzis kicked a bomb into the upper net after Hasson had dropped it and put the yellow and black back in the lead.
