Bayern line-up today against Inter Milan: Nagelsmann puzzles in the Champions League

FC Bayern is a guest at Inter Milan for the Champions League opener.

When it comes to line-up, Julian Nagelsmann is spoiled for choice at FCB.

Milan – After the furious start to the season, there were two setbacks for FC Bayern in the league, which also cast their shadow on the line-up for the game against Inter Milan.

It is therefore very unlikely that Julian Nagelsmann will not make any changes in the starting eleven compared to the 1-1 draw against Union Berlin.

But it's not just the latest results that contribute to changing lineups, but also the extremely tight rhythm in which Bayern have to play their games.

Julian Nagelsmann also suggested this notch at the press conference before the game (matchday PK to read): "If you see the rhythm of the last few days and the coming weeks, we will always change," was the unmistakable statement of the trainer.

Nagelsmann could not say which player would fall victim to the rotation, even if he had wanted to.

"I'm clear about some positions for tomorrow, but not for all of them," the trainer allows for a brief look at his thoughts.

The two full-back positions occupied by Alphonso Davies and Benjamin Pavard should be among the clear positions.

Three players are currently fighting for the central positions in the back four: Hernández, de Ligt and Upamecano.

It is possible that Upamecano will initially sit on the bench against Inter.

FC Bayern recently with loading jams - Mané on the bench?

The return of Leon Goretzka after tough weeks of injury doesn't make Bayern's luxury problem in central midfield any smaller.

Marcel Sabitzer is slowly finding his way in FCB's second year, and newcomer Ryan Gravenberch has already impressed in his Bayern outfit.

A position in the center is likely to be leased for Joshua Kimmich, the duel between the three breaks out over the remaining ones, the outcome is questionable.

There are also signs of a change in the four offensive positions that are naturally hotly contested at FC Bayern.

After his successful debut at FCB, Sadio Mané recently struggled with jamming, which is statistically verifiable, and could be a candidate for the substitute bench.

Thomas Müller could take his place, the second position in attack might be an issue for Serge Gnabry.

On the offensive wings it could hit a player from the trio Coman-Musiala-Sané who is not used.

He had recently made an unlucky appearance against Union Berlin.
