Chelsea fire coach Thomas Tuchel after Champions League defeat by Dinamo Zagreb.
Angry reaction from Germany follows the foot.
London – Thomas Tuchel is no longer the manager of Chelsea FC.
After the weak start in the Premier League and the 1-0 defeat in the premier class in Zagreb, the Blues parted ways with the German coach.
The London club's decision is met with incomprehension and causes the first angry comments.
Chelsea with a brief statement
The message on Chelsea's website could hardly be shorter.
"100 days have passed since the new ownership group took over the club," the statement said, adding: "The new owners continue to work hard to take the club forward and believe it is the right time for this change. "
The surprising separation was preceded by a mixed start to the season in the Premier League, with the negative highlight of the coaching dispute between Tuchel and Tottenham coach Antonio Conte.
Now the start of the Champions League also failed, which was probably the last straw for the new Chelsea owners around Todd Boehly – the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich had to sell due to the sanctions imposed by the British government.
Speculations that were launched a few weeks ago that Thomas Tuchel should extend his contract prematurely are now obsolete.

Commentator Uli lever foams: "Incredibly stupid decision" from Chelsea
The first reactions from Germany to the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel were not long in coming and were quite challenging.
Sports journalist and commentator Uli Lever lets
his frustration run free on
Twitter and doesn't skimp on clear words.
He doesn't put the "catastrophic news," as Lever calls it, in a good light.
He also deals against new owner Boehly and describes this as "part of the problem" with the Blues.
Thomas Tuchel, on the other hand, he considers "part of the solution" and rates the dismissal of the German by Chelsea as an "incredibly stupid decision". would have brought players who would have been wanted by Tuchel.
Tuchel also believed that he was part of the solution
Thomas Tuchel's successes at Chelsea are quite impressive.
In 2021 he won the Champions League, the Super Cup and the Club World Cup with the Blues and was subsequently voted FIFA World Coach of the Year.
The club also thanked the coach in the dismissal statement: "Thomas will rightly have his place in Chelsea history."
With the dismissal after the opening defeat in the Champions League, Tuchel's successful chapter in London has now come to an end.
After the disappointing game, Tuchel seemed contrite, but seemed to be firmly convinced that he could turn things around himself.
“There is so much to analyze.
I'm part of it," said the German after the defeat in Zagreb.
This hope was quickly dashed.
Just like his coaching colleague Tedesco in Leipzig, he was released just one day after the failed Champions League start.
