Summary: Maccabi Tel Aviv - Ironi Kiryat Shmona 1:3 (Sport1)
There are three weeks left until the transfer window closes and Maccabi Tel Aviv has not yet added two attacking players, which Vladan Ivitch is waiting for.
This coming Saturday, the Serbian will have to make do with a single striker, Eran Zahavi, after Djorja Jovanovic was sent off and Dor Turgeman is in training.
The team is in advanced talks to add a foreign striker and Yonatan Cohen.
Maccabi Tel Aviv are still not closed on the foreign striker.
There are quite a few candidates, but the one that Maccabi Tel Aviv wants is doing some muscle work also since Maccabi Tel Aviv does not participate in a European event.
The player that Maccabi Tel Aviv really wanted, Aldo Kalolo, insists on not coming.
Maccabi Tel Aviv and Soho had already closed the transfer fees and the player was in principle in favor of coming, but then he decided that he would rather stay another season in the second division in France, where he had a great season and was convinced that it would give him a springboard to at least the first division or maybe a better league.
Kalolo was supposed to receive a higher contract in Maccabi Tel Aviv than the one he has in Soho, but as mentioned in regards to the professional aspect, he preferred to stay in the second division in France.
Gave up on Israel.

In front of Pisa, the talks continue when it is really about very small gaps.
All parties want a deal.
Pisa is happy to sell Yonatan Cohen, the player wants to return to Israel and Maccabi Tel Aviv needs him in its squad.
And yet both Maccabi Tel Aviv and Pisa are still insisting on relatively low amounts of only a few hundred thousand euros and it seems that this hand-wringing battle will finally lead to the player's return to Israel.
In another matter, this year as well, as every year, Maccabi Tel Aviv cooperates with the organization "Brothers of the Symbol" to collect donations for food packages for the needy in preparation for Rosh Hashanah which will take place later this month.
This year the project is called "Doing Good in Yellow" and it is dedicated to the memory of the late Khalil Kimchi, a fan of the team who was killed in tragic circumstances. So far, over NIS 360,000 has been donated, an extraordinary amount that, as mentioned, is raised almost entirely from the fans of the team.
