Is Bayern digging at Harry Kane behind the scenes?
Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic puts an end to the rumors.
Munich – It was to be expected: Robert Lewandowski's departure does not seem to have left FC Bayern without a trace.
If Sadio Mané and Co. shot everything short and small in the first games of the season, they have found it harder in front of goal in the last two appearances in the Bundesliga.
The rumors about Munich's interest in exceptional striker Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur never quite subsided in the summer.
Most recently, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic did not deny the rumors – he only said on
Sky
: "It's still too early for that." In an interview with
tz
he is now catching up.
FC Bayern: Salihamidzic destroys Kane's hopes - "There's nothing to it"
"I don't think Oliver Kahn is pushing for a commitment from him.
You can all take a step back there.
There's nothing wrong with that," reveals Brazzo.
So no Bayern interest in Kane – for the moment.
In times when Oliver Kahn's Lewandowski basta was conceded again, that doesn't mean too much in the long run.

Harry Kane to Bayern?
For Matthew “absolutely sensible”
Lothar Matthäus thinks a transfer makes sense: “Bringing Harry Kane to Munich in 2023 makes perfect sense.
He has both the quality and the mentality for FC Bayern.
And with the return of a true centre-forward, Julian Nagelsmann really would have all the options in this top squad," he told

After the end of the transfer phase, however, other topics are initially in focus for a while.
Like an upcoming away game at San Siro, for example.
Before the start of the Champions League, Italy expert Mario Rieker
spoke to
tz.de.
He was surprised by a Nagelsmann statement and expected a difficult game.
