Suddenly it was gone.

The Türkgücü sign for the scoreboard at Grünwalder Stadion was hijacked by a 1860 fan on Wednesday.

Munich – Who owns the stadium on Grünwalder Strasse?

Actually the city of Munich.

TSV 1860 fans obviously wanted to send a signal on Tuesday evening that it was their six-football stadium.

The strange action can hardly have any other explanation.

After the city duel against Türkgücü (3:1 for 1860), a lion supporter snatched the large Türkgücü shield from the scoreboard.

The unknown 1860 fan is said to have struck about 15 to 20 minutes after the final whistle.

The folders were no longer in the ranks.

It is not known whether he passed the sign over the fence or simply walked through the exit.

But he wasn't stopped outside either.

With the Türkgücü sign in tow, we went calmly to the fan meeting point at the Grünspitz.

However, he didn't make it completely unnoticed.

The shield thief received applause from some of the lion fans as he left the stadium behind the stands.

More problematic for the derby thief: The TSV 1860 fan support team also noticed the theft.

An employee rushed to the Giesinger Grünspitz and, after a short discussion, brought the sign back to the Grünwald stadium.

The Schilder-Klau was the final act of what was actually a harmonious city duel.

Türkgücü Munich was friendly in advance and left the west curve to the 1860 fans.

And both before and after the game, stadium announcer Taner Güven tried to be in a good mood.

Some whistles kept coming from the blue block.

After the game, Löwen coach Michael Köllner explained with a wink that he skilfully ignored it.
