These days, he is conducting a legal battle with his mother, following the rights to his trademark 'Luka Doncic' 7' which is under his mother's control, and over which he wishes to take exclusive control.

"I've been developing in recent years as a person and as a basketball player and I'm interested in taking over exclusively my brand as well, it's something that should be my responsibility as well," Doncic told Mark Stein, the senior NBA reporter.
