TuS Geretsried has to go to Ampfing for a duel in the Landesliga Southeast.

The two teams are separated by just one point in the table.

– Success is when you have fun.

Or the other way around?

In any case, one thing leads to the other.

“Everyone is in a good mood at the moment,” says Daniel Dittmann.

"The good mood is important for a certain success, for passion and for being able to fulfill your tasks." That sounds like a repeat button, because the young TuS coach has been conjuring up a high spirits at the Geretsrieder Landesliga for a few weeks.

TuS Geretsried: "We'll probably play against our reflection"

He has every reason to be happy after the board has promoted him to head coach until the end of the season (see report below).

And his enthusiasm is allowed to radiate.

"With success, everything gets its own momentum, you accept more, train better," knows the 22-year-old, whose team is both relaxed and inspired for the match on Friday (7:30 p.m.) at TSV Ampfing.

And the game is predestined to do a bit of number acrobatics.

Both clubs are crawling at the top of the wave: Geretsried have collected ten out of a possible twelve points in the last four games, all in front of their own fans;

Ampfing celebrated three victories in a row - all on foreign pitches.

So now the roles are reversed again, which creates mixed feelings.

Ampfing could only win one of three games at home;

TuS is still without a point away from home.

"We're probably playing against our reflection in the mirror," jokes Daniel Dittmann.

“Ampfing also has a run.

Two emotional worlds meet that are probably quite similar at the moment," says the TuS coach.

"You can only expect a good game." With a completely open outcome, as he hastily adds.

Because the tableau is quite balanced, anyone can beat anyone.

TuS Geretsried: "Mario Walker is back and he's eager to start.

Since his own team has made good use of it recently, there is actually little reason to change the successful Geretsrieder Elf.

But Dittmann likes to rotate.

“Mario Walker is back and he's eager to start.

Srdan Ivkovic and Fabijan Podunavac, both of whom are actually regular players, have been out most of the time," says the coach, who can be hopeful: "It's a luxury problem at the moment, but we can help the young players who've played a lot lately have a break from time to time."

And some convalescents, like the two Bahnmüllers and Benjamin Fister, can be reintroduced with a lot of time and patience.

Meanwhile, Patriot Lajqi (torn ankle ligaments) and Anton Berger (knee inflammation) will have to wait a little longer.
