Syria's Qawat Al Rami and Self-Defense team won today four different medals (two gold and two silver) in the sixth Arab Championship currently being held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
The medals of our team came through Abdul Qader Al-Rana, who won gold in the weight of under 55 kg in the style of Body Power and silver in the Light Power style for the youth category, and Abdul Rahman Al-Zaher in the gold in the weight of under 40 kg in the style of Body Power and silver in the Light Power style for the junior category.
On the sidelines of the tournament, a refresher arbitration seminar was held for the participants in the tournament, including referees, coaches and players, under the supervision of the President of the Arab Game Federation, Dr. Walid Kassas.
It is noteworthy that eighty players participated in the aforementioned tournament, representing the teams of Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine and Sudan, in addition to Syria.
