Greece with NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo is Germany's opponent in the quarterfinals of the European Basketball Championship.
The Greeks won on Sunday evening in Berlin after a weak first half 94:88 (41:45) against outsiders Czech Republic and remain unbeaten as the last team in the tournament.
Antetokounmpo (27 points, ten rebounds) got stronger and stronger after the break and thus guaranteed the success of the favorite.
On Tuesday (8.30 p.m.) there will be a duel between Germany and Greece.
For the German team there are question marks over the use of Franz Wagner (ankle) and Nick Weiler-Babb (shoulder).
Antetokounmpo also complained about ankle problems recently, but seems to be fit and fully resilient again.
Besides Giannis, his two brothers Kostas and Thanasis Antetokounmpo are also part of the squad.
The other quarter-finals are Spain against Finland on Tuesday and defending champions Slovenia against Poland and France against Italy on Wednesday.
The Italian team created the sensation when they defeated top favorite Serbia around superstar Nikola Jokic from the Denver Nuggets 94:86.
The semi-finals will follow on Friday, and the next European champion will be determined on Sunday evening.
