Well deserved luck saves FC Ismaning a point with the 1:1 in the Bayernliga home game against Ingolstadt II.

Ismaning

– After the last three defeats, FC Ismaning has scored again in the footballers' Bayernliga Süd, and this 1-1 (0-0) win against FC Ingolstadt II had a golden glow: the people of Ismaning had what was currently the best team in the league on the edge of a Defeat.

In the goalless first half, FC Ismaning were the better team and deserved to take the lead.

The duel between Ismaninger marksman Yasin Yilmaz and Ingolstadt goalkeeper Maurice Dehler caused a spectacle.

In the 11th minute, Yilmaz took a low shot from the penalty area and the keeper deflected the ball with his fingertips against the post.

After a good half hour, the fingertips then prevented a goal of the year.

Yilmaz was still ten yards in his own half when he fired.

With a full sprint backwards, fingertips and luck, the goalkeeper prevented the 1-0 again (34th).

After the break, the game became more tactical with fewer chances, but overall FC Ismaning's lead was deserved.

Ryohei Nishikawa had stressed the Ingolstadt team on the wing, moved into the penalty area and took the penalty.

Markus Mittermaier didn't let this chance pass him by (65').

"I would have preferred it to be 1-0 in the 82nd minute," said Mijo Stijepic later.

The Ismaninger coach knew that the remaining 25 minutes against strong Ingolstadt with five reinforcements from the professional squad would be very long.

The Ismaningers changed defensively, wanted to make it 1-0 over time and to be able to keep the very intensive work against the ball at the high level this time with fresh legs.

Ultimately, a small fault brought FC Ingolstadt back into the game.

A free kick opened a gap in Ismaninger's defensive wall and that meant it was 1-1 (76').

But it could have been much worse, because Ingolstadt got a penalty kick in the fourth and last minute of added time.

David Tomasevic is said to have tripped the attacker and swore there was no contact.

Mario Götzendörfer's last shot of the game went wide of the post and Ismaning saved a point that they had put in a lot of effort to get.

"We deserved this luck and this shot against the post," Stijepic summed up.

His team showed a performance that would not have lost three times before.

FC Ismaning - FC Ingolstadt II 1: 1 (0: 0).
