Munich – FC Bayern is battered in the top duel in the Champions League on Tuesday against FC Barcelona and returnee Robert Lewandowski.

The start of the group phase in the premier class was successful with a 2-0 win at Inter Milan.

In the Bundesliga, however, the alarm bells went off in Bayern after the third draw in a row against VfB Stuttgart last Saturday.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann only had three league games in a row without a win at the end of the previous season, when the German championship was already certain.

So there is a need for discussion at Bayern Munich.

Appropriately, Nagelsmann will be a guest at the press conference before the Barca game on Monday at 2 p.m.

Thomas Müller will also answer the most important questions before the CL cracker, the original Bavarian put his finger in the wound after the VfB draw.

In any case, Nagelsmann does not want to deviate from his plan after the series of draws and does not feel any pressure.

"I don't know if the pressure has increased.

Pressure is something very subjective, something that always comes from outside.

I'm approaching the week the same way I would have tackled it if we had won the game," the 35-year-old responded irritably when asked about the increasing pressure.

After the public training session on Sunday at Säbener Strasse, Bayern will train again on Monday morning at 11 a.m. before Nagelsmann reveals his thoughts on the duel with Barcelona at the press conference.

"Then we'll try to win the home game on Tuesday.

I would have done the same thing if we had won 4-0 today," said Nagelsmann.

Thomas Müller was also "upset" after Bayern's mistake and asked the reporter a cheeky counter-question.

The next task is to stop goal machine Robert Lewandowski.

The Pole is returning to his old place of work just a few weeks after moving from FC Bayern to FC Barcelona.

“Of course, as a former player in these big titles, you wish that the reception would be warm.

But we'll see on Tuesday," said Müller, who is celebrating his 33rd birthday on the day of the game.

When asked whether the handling on the lawn should be so harmonious, the Weilheimer emphasized with a smile: "Tough, but warm." Müller will probably be asked more questions about Lewandowski.
