Jovanovich and Gloch will return to the Maccabi Tel Aviv lineup.
Waiting for the Pisa decision
The striker who was removed from the match against Ashdod and the midfielder who is in Sufsel should receive renewed credit from Ivić in the match against Beitar on Saturday. Maccabi Tel Aviv and Pisa are still fortifying their demands for the winger, and in the meantime the Yellows are looking for another striker who can also play on the wing. At this point: Dan Beaton will remain in the team

Abstract: MS.
Ashdod - Maccabi Tel Aviv 0:0 (Sport1)
George Yovanovic and Oskar Gloch are expected to return to the Maccabi Tel Aviv lineup on Saturday against Beitar Jerusalem. The Serbian striker was absent from the match against MS Ashdod on Tuesday because he was suspended for a previous game against Kiryat Shmona. Gloch did not start due to a professional decision by the coach Vladan Ivitch. The two are expected to return to the lineup against the Jerusalemites, in a match that should be similar to what Maccabi Tel Aviv went through on Saturday in Ashdod, certainly in everything related to the defensive line that Yossi Abouxis will place in order to extract a point in Bloomfield.
Jovanovich's importance only intensified after the match in Ashdod. Maccabi Tel Aviv Came to the game with a single striker in the squad, Eran Zahavi and at this stage when Ivić builds on a 2:3:5 formation, he needs Jovanović alongside Zahavi in the attack.

In Maccabi Tel Aviv they are still waiting for the conclusion of the negotiations with Pisa which are mainly conducted between Canada and Italy.
On the one hand, there is almost no gap between the clubs on Yonatan Cohen.
On the other hand, the Italians insist on receiving an amount close to what they paid for Cohen, 1.1 million euros, and Maccabi Tel Aviv still insists on its side.
As I remember and as already published here, the second payment of 1.1 million euros never went from Pisa to Maccabi Tel Aviv, so the Italians paid only 1.1 million euros for Cohen.
As soon as the amount is closed between the clubs, Cohen will sit down to close his terms, but the basis is already known in talks with his agent Ronen Katsav, so there should not be a problem with the player once Pisa approves the amount.
In regards to a foreign striker that Maccabi Tel Aviv is still trying to close, the goal is to find someone who can also play on the wing.
A player who will have high speed, a commodity that is currently very problematic in the team.
With the exception of Matan Khuzaz, Maccabi Tel Aviv does not have forward players who are gifted with extraordinary speed, and hence the ongoing searches are for locating a player whose one of the main qualities is speed.
Players that Maccabi Tel Aviv tried to bring in, including Aldo Kalolo, ultimately did not agree to come, and thus Maccabi Tel Aviv was left at this stage without a sixth foreigner in the attack and still without Yonatan Cohen.

As far as Dan Bitton is concerned, despite all the rumors that were on social media yesterday, there is no negotiation between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Beer Sheva about a trade between Dan Bitton and Hatem Abdel Hamid.
Bitton, at this stage, remains at Maccabi Tel Aviv regardless of Alhamid whose name has been linked to Maccabi Tel Aviv many times in the past.
