A decisive step by the Ultras organization of Paris Saint-Germain fans: The "Collective" today (Monday) published a message on social media in which they announced the boycott of the match against Maccabi Haifa in Israel, due to what the organization defined as "excessive security restrictions".
"This Wednesday, September 14, our team Paris Saint-Germain will travel to Haifa for our second match in the group stage of the Champions League, against Maccabi. We regret the security conditions imposed by the State of Israel in order to enter it. We will always oppose for aggressive restrictions on our freedoms in traveling to away games. Under these conditions, we feel that we are being forced to boycott this away game, given the excessive restrictions. These are Paris!", the Ultras' statement read.
