In the other Youth League group game, Sporting Club de Portugal defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.

The city of Marseille, for example, banned fellow passengers from wearing jerseys and scarves in the city area.

Now there are said to have been riots between some of the around 8,000 people in Frankfurt and the local police on Monday evening, after which five fans were taken into custody.

SGE: Marseille is not an easy opponent in the Champions League

The French have enjoyed the best start to the season in club history under new coach Igor Tudor.

Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner warned against "OM" at the press conference before the game: "Olympique Marseille is in very good shape and is second in the league.

In Tottenham they were at least equal until they were outnumbered.” So the task will be difficult, but certainly not impossible for last season's Europa League champions.
