The debacle in Elversberg heated up tempers at TSV 1860. Now Michael Köllner is in a good mood again.

And explains the scramble in the coaching zone.

Munich – short comeback of the summer – and with the sun the good mood returned to Grünwalder Straße on Tuesday.

In order to process the 1: 4 from Elversberg, Michael Köllner had given a free Monday - a success apparently.

The players joked around as they entered the training pitch.

And then they first sang: "Happy birthday, Leandro Morgalla!" The young defense star turned 18 yesterday.

It was good for the lions that a quartet who returned from sick leave in time for the Aue home game also sang along: Belkahia, Lang Skenderovic, Steinhart.

Only striker Bär is still missing.

Köllner, who was still in a mood of grumpiness on Saturday, also seemed demonstratively happy when he greeted a few onlookers, including Hans Sitzberger, before the start of training.

"One of my two favorite vice presidents," the coach joked, followed by a little drama.

"How can I be in such a good mood?" he asked ironically: "Even though we only got 19 points from eight games..." Köllner's way of showing what he thinks of the black-and-white thinking typical of the 1860s.

Quite a few in the environment already doubt that the home duel with the winless tail light Aue will go into the (leather) pants.

1860 bankruptcy in Elversberg: Köllner pushes strangers out of the coaching zone – "Of course I'll fight someone like that"

But is Köllner even allowed to stand on the sidelines on Friday?

As reported, the coach could face an indoor ban after he pushed a DFB security observer out of his coaching zone on Saturday.

A special report has been prepared.

The note that Köllner held in his hand on Tuesday was not an invitation to comment, as the coach explained when asked.

In an interview with our newspaper, he described how he perceived the incident in Elversberg's second half.

"In 150 or 200 games I've never seen anyone tumbling around in my coaching zone," complained Köllner: "He didn't introduce himself, couldn't identify himself - how should I know what he's doing with us?"

It's clear that I'll fight someone like that - and if I carry him out..."

It didn't get that far on Saturday, but Köllner himself knows that he will have to rein himself in in the future.

Regardless of the coaching zone affair: Another yellow card – and he definitely has to sit out a game.
