How does coach Julian Nagelsmann line up?
Upamecano may be preferred to De Ligt because the Frenchman knows Robert Lewandowski better.
And on offense?
"Only" Kingsley Coman is missing.

Julian Nagelsmann already has most of his line-up in mind.

Marcel Sabitzer will play for Goretzka from the start, Nagelsmann revealed at the press conference on Monday before Bayern Munich vs Barcelona.
Goretzka, who only celebrated his return to the starting XI after knee surgery on Saturday, was partly fatal to his good performance against Stuttgart.

“There was the idea of replacing Leon earlier to save seeds.
But his defensive stability and very good performance that he showed made me let him go," explained Nagelsmann, who does not want to burn the important midfielder immediately.
"That was a lot, after such a long time.
He has taken it well and feels good, but of course he still feels the strain.
It doesn't have performance reasons, just a bit of control.
That we simply have something from him for longer.”

For Goretzka, who is dueling with Sabitzer for the regular place in midfield next to Joshua Kimmich, it was a bitter but understandable decision.
Goretzka is said to be anything but enthusiastic about it.
Nagelsmann fully relies on the Austrian against Barcelona, who also provided stability against Inter.
“Sabi is also doing very well and was rested recently.
He's a key player in switching defensively as far as counterattacks go.
He has a good instinct for defending situations where the ball is lost, and Sabi is one of the best we have there,” explained Nagelsmann.
Bayern line-up: Upamecano or De Ligt – who can stop Lewandowski?
Nagelsmann is still working on his line-up in central defence.
The three candidates are Lucas Hernandez, Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt.
"I'm relatively clear in many positions, but not one hundred percent in central defence.
The good thing is that all three perform very well, are at a good level.
Luci has had a break now, he will play," revealed the 35-year-old about Hernandez's starting XI.

There are many indications that Upamecano will be nominated, after all, de Ligt was allowed to appear four times in a row.
In addition, the Frenchman knows Barca striker Robert Lewandowski from previous duels in Leipzig and training.
“Of course, Upa has had a few more duels against Lewy in the Bundesliga before.
He's always defended very well with Leipzig and knows him from training," said Nagelsmann, who hasn't made a decision yet and wants to sleep over it for the night.
