Simona Pontecchio brought it down to 18:15, France ran back to 17:27, and ended the first quarter with a 20:27 advantage.
Timothy Louau Cabaro who hit three 3-pointers in the first half established a record advantage of 22:33, on the other hand Zimek Pontecchio again and at half time the French advantage stood at 31:38.

The excellent Hertel finished with 20 points and 8 assists, Gober added 19 and 14 rebounds and Fournier contributed 17. On the other hand, Pontacchio and Marco Speiso led with 21 each.
