SCF President: Defaulting payers slow down annual meeting

The last annual meeting of SC Fürstenfeldbruck was four years ago.
A meeting is now to be arranged.
Fürstenfeldbruck – The members last met in 2018.
According to SCF President Jakob Ettner, there have been no more elections at the Brucker association since then due to legal disputes and the corona pandemic.
That should now be made up for.
The plans are in progress.
But there are difficulties.
Specifically, it is about a number of members who, according to Ettner, have not paid their annual fees for the past one to four years – these are 120 euros for adults.
Partly out of omission, partly because of account changes and partly as a protest against the club president.
The SC Fürstenfeldbruck has written to the defaulting payers several times and set a deadline, says Ettner.
But so far only a few have responded.

Non-payers are now threatened with expulsion from the club.
A procedure that the SCF President actually wants to avoid.
"We're a burned child when it comes to legal proceedings with members," says Ettner.
And: "We don't want bad blood."
The association now wants to give its members another opportunity to pay their dues.
The deadline for this is Friday, September 23.
Ettner also wants to wait that long before he schedules the general meeting.
Originally that would have been planned for the end of August or beginning of September.
But Ettner says: "We want to do everything cleanly, clearly and correctly."
