The soccer player from the Premier League, who was suspected of hitting his partner and is under house arrest, was released this evening (Wednesday) by the court and will be able to return to his team's training.
Attorney Mor Atia, representing the player, whose name is still prohibited from publication: "At the end of a hearing that took place today at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, the Honorable Judge accepted the appeal and approved the player's release from house arrest for the team's training and games.
Also, the order to delay his departure from the country imposed on him has been removed and the player will be able to participate in his team's games.'
Earlier, attorney Mor Atia, filed an appeal to the Magistrate's Court today, for the decision to keep him under house arrest for 5 days.
The request states, among other things: "Regarding the limitation requiring the petitioner to be under house arrest for five days, it is understood that preventing the petitioner from participating in his team's game will cause him real occupational and image damage, and this will also harm the functioning of his team and even affect the outcome of the game and, as a result, the fate of the group".
