It's going to be difficult: SV Raisting meets 1. FC Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the district league, who are currently in good form.

Raisting - Some might get the idea that they now want to fight the home curse with very clumsy means.

The next game of the Raistinger footballers is exceptionally on Saturday, not at the usual Sunday time.

But Johannes Franz, the trainer, makes it clear immediately: That has nothing to do with it.

In addition, the SVR recently won at home again.

"The curse is over," says the coach.

No, in this case it is about a sign of solidarity.

The Raistinger association organizes its “Vorwiesn”, which is practically a warm-up for the Oktoberfest weeks.

And because the association always contributes generously to the training camp costs of the first team (one third), Franz considers it a matter of course to appear there and celebrate - after a (hopefully) successful duel with Garmisch-Partenkirchen this Saturday at 3 p.m .

The task, says the coach himself, "couldn't be bigger".

The online portal "Fupa" introduced a so-called power ranking this season.

A model from US sports that is intended to classify which clubs are currently in particularly good or bad shape.

1. FC, relegated from the state league, leads this ranking.

13 points from the past five games are in the shop window.

"Brutal goal difference," notes Franz.

The Werdenfelsers scored 26 hits, no team shot more.

The heart and soul and, if you like, the brain of this team is Moritz Müller, probably the most dangerous and talented attacker in the Oberland below the Bayernliga.

The man from Oberhausen was already top scorer in the state league and is now breaking up the defenses in the district league south week after week, with assists and goals in equal measure (he tops the list with twelve stalls).

But coach Franz makes it clear: "It would be fatal to only concentrate on Moritz." He sees "throughout the bank experience in the Landesliga";

this is certainly the case for the majority of the starting XI.

Müller will certainly be doubled up close to the ball, but Franz sees the key to the sensation only in the collective.

SV Raisting only has a chance if the whole team defends.

The player-coach emphasizes that he will certainly not turn anyone off.

"You get in trouble in 'one-on-one'."

With three wins from four games, the team is also in a good mood at the moment.

These may not have been football festivals recently, but one thing has stabilized enormously: the defense.

He is not yet 100 percent satisfied with the way these victories came about.

"Our aim is to play a bit more dominantly." But with only one goal in four duels, his team can certainly appear self-confident.

Especially since there is actually no pressure on the SVR on the home stage on Saturday.

After the consolidated impressions of the first few weeks, Franz counts the Garmisch-Partenkirchner among the "absolute top favourites".

It knows how difficult it is to collect yourself after a descent.

He has a high regard for coach Florian Heringer, another one from the great Oberhausen connection at 1. FC Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

He formed a very goal-oriented team with great strengths in the transition game.

Raisting comes into play as a blatant outsider, especially since the personnel situation is very tense, a number of kickers are canceled, the most prominent is certainly Matthias Sedlmeier, who injured his thigh last week.
