Spain vs. France - this is the Eurobasket final that will be held on Sunday.
After an excellent basketball game, with many twists and turns, it was once again the character of Spain that defeated the host Germany 91:96 in the semi-finals this evening (Friday), with its outstanding player, naturalized Lorenzo Brown, a Maccabi Tel Aviv player.
Spain continued its journey even though in this championship the evaluations about it were pessimistic because of the less talented team than before.
As in the round of 16 and the quarter-finals, she was behind by two digits (this time towards the end of the third quarter) and knew how to turn the result around.
Lorenzo Brown excelled again.
The center managed the game excellently (six assists) and was the main executor with 29 points and finished with an index of 27. From the second half, the German center Dennis Schroeder finished with 30 points, but weakened towards the end when the Spaniards took control of the game.
Germany will compete for the bronze medal against Poland on Sunday.
