Hasan Salihamidzic is apparently taking a new approach to the salaries of the Bayern stars.
More power, more money?
Munich – If you want to play for the Champions League, you have to pay your players millions in salary – FC Bayern can’t avoid that either.
According to a study by the
Capology
portal , Munich employees rank fourth in the international salary rankings with estimated annual expenditure of 264 million euros.
The top earner at the record champions is newcomer Sadio Mané, who is currently not doing quite well in terms of sport.
According to information from

, a clause was included in the Senegalese's contract that links his salary to the scorer points.
Performance-related contracts with bonus models are not unusual in football, but the variable part of the salary at Bayern should be 25 percent or even higher in some cases.

According to the report, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic and technical director Marco Neppe want to increasingly rely on such models in the future.
Both quantitative and qualitative targets should be incorporated into the contracts.
In plain language: In addition to the usual bonuses, the pros can secure additional income by participating in goals.

But that also harbors potential for conflict, Lothar Matthäus suspects: "With such a high-quality range of offensive players as is currently available at FC Bayern, that also increases the pressure on the coach a little." If you don't play, you don't get any bonuses.
"The players who sit on the bench are not only dissatisfied because they are not allowed to play - but possibly also because they are losing part of their salary," says Matthäus.
Nagelsmann's luxury problem at Bayern
Recently, rumors about dissatisfied Bayern stars came up.
Julian Nagelsmann has the sometimes nice, but sometimes thankless task of keeping a squad full of top-class players happy.
With the new salary model, it shouldn't be any easier if the players may scratch their hooves even more.
