In between, he nibbles chips and donuts with his friends in line: "We all want to be here together"

Along with thousands of other citizens, former star David Beckham also arrived today (Friday) to pay his last respects to Queen Elizabeth II - and he didn't just come.
The former England captain joined the long queue at 2.15am, and spent no less than 13 hours in it until he finally reached the coffin in Westminster Abbey at 3.25pm.
"We all want to be here together, we all want to celebrate together the amazing life of our Queen," said Beckham, "something like this is meant to be shared together."
The former star who met the queen added and said that during the long wait, together with his friends in line, he snacked on chips, donuts and sweets to keep alert.
When he got to the closet, he could see her teary-eyed.
"It will take us a long time to digest this death, because it was so significant for us," he said.

In England, it is estimated that by the time of the funeral on Monday morning, about 750,000 people are expected to pass by the Queen's coffin.
"I am crushed with sadness," Beckham wrote on his Instagram account after the Queen's death.
"The extent of our sadness shows how important she was to people in this country and around the world. How much she inspired us with her leadership. How much she comforted us in difficult moments."
