Continuing on from the previous season, before each weekend Le Parisien offers a selection of issues and events not to be missed in Île-de-France.

Overview.

PSG back at Coubertin

HANDBALL.

Barely returned from Hungary where they faced Veszprém this Thursday for their first Champions League match (36-34 defeat, editor's note), the Parisians continue with the championship at home.

For the occasion, they find their favorite room in Coubertin, under construction for a few months but sufficiently renovated to host matches, starting with the one against Sélestat this Saturday (7 p.m.).

An opposition within the reach of the champions of France, facing a promoted Alsatian whose president is none other than … Christian Omeyer, the twin brother of Thierry, former goalkeeper of the French team and general manager of PSG .

For their part, Créteil and Ivry, beaten during the initial day, need to bounce back this Friday against Chambéry and Chartres.

In Proligue, Pontault (at Billère) and Massy (against Frontignan) must confirm their good start to the season, with an advantage for the Essonnians who play at home.

Tremblay, beaten from the start, moves to Sarrebourg.

In the Butagaz League, Paris 92 will try to win its 3rd success in a row

with the reception of Besançon.

For the occasion, the Palais des sports of Issy-les-Moulineaux will celebrate the Oktoberfest.

RUGBY.

In the Top 14, the Stade Français Paris welcomes Aviron Bayonnais, promoted to this level.

The objective will be to refuel at home for Parisians who returned empty-handed from Castres last weekend.

For this second home game, the Jean-Bouin stadium will have a Basque accent and a little feria side.

Banda in the stadium, throwing espadrilles like at the Bayonne celebrations in the passageways before the match, and a giant bodega from the final whistle.

At the same time, Racing 92, beaten in Bayonne just last week, will seek to win against Lyon in a shock that promises Paris La Défense Arena.

BASKETBALL.

With the rise of the Stade Français and Orly, there will now be 6 Ile-de-France representatives in the Women's National 1 (3rd level) this season.

They join Sceaux, Sannois Saint-Gratien, the young shoots of the Federal Center, and Franconville.

Orly will perform its baptism of fire on the Saint-Gratien floor for the first of the many derbies that will enliven the season.

The other promoted is Stade Français, the only intramural Parisian club to play at this level.

The good deed of the weekend: the 9th Triathlon des Roses

Organized for the 9th consecutive year by the ARC Foundation, the Triathlon des Roses stands out as a solidarity race dedicated to women, the aim of which is to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The first of the three stages takes place this Saturday in Paris (La Faisanderie, Domaine de Saint-Cloud), before going next Sunday to Toulouse, then in October to Antibes.

Several hundred participants will set off to take up a real sporting challenge around a course combining swimming (200 meters), cycling (8 km) and running (5 km).

This new edition is sponsored by Denis Brogniart, host of the show Koh-Lanta on TF1.

This popular event will be combined this year, for the first time, with an inter-company challenge.

With the @FondationARC, I am committed against #BreastCancer.

All together, let's take up the challenge of the biggest triathlon in France!

To validate participation in the race, each competitor had to collect at least €300 individually, and €500 as a team.

PADEL.

After touring the country to select the best players, the Grand Final Master of the Cupra Padel Point Tour takes place this Saturday all day in the ultra-modern complex of Yvelines.

This is the biggest amateur padel event in France, which brings together this weekend all the winners and finalists of each previous stage (Paris, Toulouse, Caen, Saint-Etienne, La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Bandol, Beausoleil and Rennes ) of the Cupra Padel-Point Tour.

Four categories (P100 Ladies, P100 Gentlemen, P500 Ladies, P500 Gentlemen) are involved in the competition, but it will also be possible to attend an exhibition of pro players and friendly matches between them and amateur players.

Many activities (one point, children's activities, photobooth, ephemeral tattoo bar, etc.) with many prizes to be won,

Outdoor activity: the Bossapas

TREK.

A real challenge in the middle of nature open to all hikers and sports enthusiasts, the Bossapas is a hike of

35 km with 1200 meters of elevation gain for the reckless, or a 25 km circuit with 800 meters of elevation gain for the adventurous.

These two routes allow you to discover the forests of Fausses-Reposes, Meudon and Clamart.

Many bumps are there for the work of the calves and beautiful bodies of water fall steeply for natural and relaxing stops.

Alone, with family or friends, no fear of getting lost: the routes are signposted.

At checkpoints volunteers are available for light refreshments and snacks.

However, it is essential to remember to take a picnic, water, and good shoes.

Departures are opposite Chaville Rive Droite station, between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. (last departures at 8:30 a.m.) for both routes.
