The Fairy as a magician

Established alongside Laurent Abergel in front of the defense, given that Julien Ponceau was integrated into the eleven, Enzo Le Fée was the best Hake this evening by being involved in a large majority of the goals.

He is the one who serves as Ponceau on the opener of Dango Ouattara (15th).

A few minutes before half-time, at the limit of offside, Le Fée came to score the break goal after the shot was repelled by Costil (43rd).

Upon returning from the locker room, he almost offered the double to Ouattara by shooting his free kick perfectly but the latter was finally indicated in an illicit position.

The Lorient midfielder finished the match with 90% successful passes, taking pleasure in this role of playmaker in front of the defense.

It allowed the Bretons to restart cleanly and quickly.

Moffi-Ouattara-Diarra, a trio in form

Lorient won again, Moffi scored again.

The recipe seems to repeat itself week after week.

The Merlus striker came to score his 6th goal of the season by heading in the magnificent delivery of Talbi after the long cross from Le Goff (36th).

But once again, the Nigerian was not alone in Lorient's offensive animation.

Dango Ouattara was dangerous in almost all his opportunities: first scorer (15th), he tried his luck from afar (34th).

He then came close to doubling in the second half (48th) but his goal was disallowed for an offside position.

Stéphane Diarra made his speed speak on the right side, to take advantage of very good quick raises from Le Fée, he could even have scored if Costil had not pushed back his dive (70th).

FLOPS

The soporific Auxerre defense

Unlike the game against Rennes lost (5-0), the Auxerre defense did not make any real individual errors.

Nevertheless, it struggles to be transcendent.

Of the 12 strikes from Lorient, the men of Régis Le Bris framed eight.

A high percentage which testifies to a real lack of solidity in the surface.

Whether Moffi, Diarra or Ouattara, the offensive sector of Lorient overtook the side Mensah and Joly too easily.

There is a glaring lack of communication between the four defenders, sometimes leaving real spaces.

And against a team in form in attack, the answers can be paid dearly.

Sterile offensive phases of the AJA

Auxerre was not unworthy and harbors regrets.

Yes the sentence can make you smile and yet it is an observation that hurts this Friday evening.

At home, AJ Auxerre attempted a total of 17 strikes, far more than Lorient's 12.

They also had nine corner opportunities.

But the balance sheet is simple: a goal scored on a mishandling by Mvogo (50th), some interesting breakthroughs on the sides with Gauthier Hein, Hamza Sakhi or Mathias Autret but the ingredient of offensive realism is still missing.

After Ouattara's opener, the Burgundians played ten serious minutes, settling in the 50 Breton meters.

But these offensive phases ultimately prove sterile.
