A point deduction for a forgotten email?

That's way too hard and not in the spirit of the sport.

Please change the bylaws!

Tobi Huber and TuS Oberding lost in front of the sports court.

Not once, but also in the appointment, which was hopeless from the start.

Why is the club going into the third round now?

Because he's right.

Because it's time to take action against an injustice.

But let's start from the beginning.

Goal celebrations now only make sense with a five-minute delay.

We are used to that with the introduction of the video referee.

That's how it is in professional football.

It's different for amateurs.

It now even takes several weeks before SpVgg Altenerding, for example, knows whether they really won despite a 3-0 win.

She is still worried about the points against Hohenpolding because she let a youth player play twice in one day (we reported).

On the other hand, it should be certain that she can keep the victory she won against Ottenhofen.

Although the player in question was substituted on here when the score was 5-0, the DJK did not object to the rating, says SpVgg football boss Andreas Heilmaier.

Chapeau DJK for not hiding behind the phrase "In the interest of the club",

The TSV St. Wolfgang 2 - and now we come to the Oberdinger case - didn't lodge a protest either, but can still be happy despite the 1:3 defeat against the TuS reserve.

What happened?

TuS had applied for a pass for a new player and received it four days before the game.

"The right to play was there," says department head Tobi Huber, who was on vacation at the time, which is why no photo of the new signing has been uploaded to the passport page.

"I usually do that, and nobody thought of it," says Huber.

After presenting his identity card, the newcomer was still allowed to play.

Game manager Thomas Sievers instructed the club to upload the photo later, which Huber did on vacation.

Days later, the BFV reported: the picture was on the website,

A form error?

"Yes," says Huber.

“But does this justify a triple punishment?” Because that was the verdict: the club had to pay 50 euros, Huber personally 50 euros as the responsible team manager (plus 20 euros in court costs) – and the point deduction.

Sports judge Nico Freisinger regrets that he had no leeway.

The statute is clear.

He should actually have fined TuS 150 euros, but then downgraded the offense to "less serious".

Sievers is not to blame either.

Freisinger: "The match directors are instructed by the association to report the offences." Sievers himself says: "I have to check and pass on the game reports.

So the topic is over for me.” He did not want to comment on the verdict.

“That is a matter for the sports court.

I'm not entitled to that."

Tobi Huber does not want to accept the verdict.

He was particularly annoyed: "Although we appealed, the points were deducted two days later." And that with the appeal was also a thing.

Because the responsible district court reported to TuS very early on.

Not with the verdict, but with the advice to let the appeal remain the same, since the outcome is clear and the process would cost more money.

“Do they want to silence us?” Huber wonders.

The TuS wanted to know, conceded the next defeat and another 60 euro penalty for the club and Huber.

End of the flagpole?

Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that.

The TuS goes to the last instance.

The club would accept a fine, says Huber.

"But the point deduction?

The people of Wolfgang didn't even complain.

After Corona, the BFV emphasized how important it is that the games are finally played on the pitch again.

And now this rating at the green table, although our man had the right to play.

We don't understand that and want to have that clarified."

The TuS will probably be rebuffed (and spend more money).

But maybe - this is my hope - this will be the last case in this direction.

Perhaps the responsible BFV committees will also see: A point deduction because of a forgotten e-mail - that is far too hard and not in the interests of sport.

Please change the bylaws!

That would not only make the clubs happy, but also the judges and game masters.

They don't want that either.

And therefore: Thank you, TuS, for the fighting spirit!
