Dennis Schröder was once again the best German pitcher

The German national basketball team brought the home European Championships to a successful conclusion by beating Poland in the match for third place and winning the bronze medal.
After the European Championship title in 1993 and silver for a team led by Dirk Nowitzki in 2005, the European Championship medal set for German basketball is now complete.
The best German thrower in the 82:69 (36:23) success was Dennis Schröder with 26 points.
Michal Sokolowski scored 18 points for the Poles.
