The SpVgg Kammerberg has already proven this season that they can keep up with the best teams in the district league north and even beat them.
But there is another side to Matthias Koston's team.
She showed this in the 0:2 (0:1) home defeat against VSST Günzlhofen.
"It was a very bad game from us.
Without emotion, without posture, without esprit,” says Koston disappointed.
Günzlhofen arrived at the bottom of the table.
The visitors had only won one game so far this season.
It was clear they were not going to unleash offensive fireworks.
They didn't have to, because in Kammerberg it was enough to concentrate on defensive work.
"They stood deep and did it tactically very well," explains the player-coach.

His team couldn't find a way: "If we can't bring or accept a ten-metre pass to a teammate, it's easy for an opponent like that." In the 39th minute, the VSST punished the home side for their uninspired performance.
Antonio Ferlisi had a lot of space after a set piece and headed the visitors ahead without any pressure from the opponent (39').
No surprise for Koston: "If you appear so pomadig, then it is clear that at some point the opponent senses the opportunity."
Shortly after the break, SpVgg wanted to take a free kick, but lost the ball. Two opposing strikers ran towards Markus Eisgruber's box, Hakan Özdemir pushed in to make it 0:2 (50th).
“That didn't go with our training week, because it was good.
But it suited our performance,” says Koston.
The hosts found no solutions afterwards and suffered their fifth defeat of the season.
"It was a used day for us and a deserved victory for Günzlhofen," Koston summarized his team's performance.
So it stays that way: the Kammerbergers have not managed more than two wins in a row this season.
