Frustration at 1860 II - Schmöller rages: "Can't hear the crap anymore that we're undefeated"

The TSV 1860 II doesn't lose, but the little lions also have a hard time winning.

Coach Frank Schmöller is angry, his boys are in for a lecture.

Munich – Twelve games, no (sporting) defeat, but only 19 points and seventh place.

That is the peculiar record of TSV 1860 Munich II. The little lions are apparently unbeatable, but still not a top team.

"I can't stand the shit anymore that we're undefeated," says Junglöwen coach Frank Schmöller, who is noticeably annoyed after the recent draw against Türkspor Augsburg.

His protégés have now equalized twice in a row in the final phase.

"We don't have the focus to drive such things home dirty," he complains.

Only 90 percent would have given their protégés last.

Is there complacency involved?

"Maybe we're doing too well right now," Schmöller puts it and announces Tacheles: "It's just not all that great right now.

And we will make that clear to the team during the week.

We have to improve again, play consistently again.

We're not so good that 90 percent is enough for us."

The defense was the showpiece of the little lions, but that also got quirks.

The Schmöller team conceded five goals in the last two games.

In the ten previous games there were a total of four.

1860 II now has to counteract the trend.

Frank Schmöller has four days to wake up his boys.

"Maybe it would be good to lose sometimes," his assistant coach is said to have already put forward a controversial thesis.

Schmöller disagrees and also takes a point with him.

But remains clear: "The draws are annoying, no question."

"A game awaits us in Rosenheim that will not be decided on technical finesse," says Schmöller, looking at the upcoming opponent.

At the end of the day, a win should be possible again.

If you take a look at the table, you will see that the TSV 1860 II suffered a defeat.

The happened, however, at the green table.

The win against FC Memmingen subsequently turned into a 2-0 defeat from Löwen's point of view because Alexander Freitag played for the amateurs too soon after playing professionally.
