Today (Monday) the Queen of England for 70 years, Elizabeth the Second, will be laid to rest in a long, dignified and emotional burial ceremony, which will mark 12 days of mourning in the British Kingdom.
In Scotland, it became clear, at least on the football pitches, that the honor of the Queen who passed away is not important, and many fans chose to desecrate the minute in her memory at the various pitches in the Premiership, including those of the champion Glasgow Celtic.
Maybe it was karma, and Celtic suffered their first loss of the season yesterday (2:0 to St Mirren), but what happened before the opening whistle was sad and disgusting.
As the players of both teams clapped for a minute in memory of Queen Elizabeth, the fans erupted in derogatory chants.
"If you hate the royal family - clap your hands," they repeated and sang, sharing the embarrassed actors in their shameless protest.
The sign "Royal Family, Go to Hazed***" was also stretched in one of the stands, without any of the security personnel bothering to remove it quickly, if at all.

Even in the game between Glasgow Rangers and Dundee United, the fans were disrespectful to the late Queen, especially Dundee fans who sang: "Lizzy in the box, Lizzy in the box", as if mocking the long journey of Elizabeth II's coffin.
All this happened during the minute's silence at Rangers' home ground, Ivebrox.
The official Twitter account of Dundee United hastened to publish a message condemning the behavior of the fans of the team, which also lost (2:1).
