The popular messaging app WhatsApp will enter the world of movies tomorrow (Wednesday) for the first time, when it will launch a short film about NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The film will deal with the life story of the player who was born in Greece to Nigerian parents, and the path he took until he reached the best league in the world.
Its length will be only 12 minutes, and it will be possible to watch it in the application itself and on WhatsApp's YouTube account.
The short film marks WhatsApp's foray into the entertainment world, an unusual venture for a messaging app.
However, unlike the original content produced by the technology giant Apple, the film seems to be a way to promote the brand considering the fact that Yanis recently signed a publishing agreement with the company.
"The Greek Freak.
That's not me, that's not all of me."
