With the participation of 300 male and female students, the body building and fitness course for newcomers concluded today, which was held by the Game Federation at the headquarters of the General Sports Federation in Damascus, after a week of intensive lectures in the science of training.
Head of the Federation of Body Building Manar Heikal said in a statement to SANA: This course witnessed a great turnout by game players, especially females, which is evidence of its development and the strong desire to practice it, noting that the Federation organizes a number of training courses throughout the year centrally and in the governorates, adding that The course dealt with many topics presented by specialized lecturers in the medical and nutritional aspects, in addition to the arbitration aspects and how to deal with the trainees.
Secretary of the Federation Samir Ismail indicated that bodybuilding is one of the most practiced sports in sports, so the Federation is keen to hold training courses on an ongoing basis to prepare specialized trainers who are familiar with all aspects of the game from nutrition to injuries and ways to treat them.
Head of the Technical Committee for the game in Damascus, Iyad Muhani, explained the importance of the course to keep pace with the developments of training and raise awareness of the danger of doping on the trainees, and also contribute to evaluating the training process. .
Many male and female students unanimously agreed on the importance of the course in developing their knowledge about the science of training, expressing their readiness to participate in the upcoming promotion courses that the Federation will announce in the coming sessions.
