The Congress of Deputies has condemned this Tuesday the racist insults that Vinicius received last Sunday by some Atlético de Madrid fans before the derby against Real Madrid.
The parliamentary groups have unanimously published an institutional text in which they express their absolute rejection of the facts.
In the declaration, read in parliament, they commit to promoting respect in the field of sport and the necessary measures to eradicate any form of violence, and urge the League, UEFA, FIFA, the Higher Sports Council and all public administrations , teams and footballers to eradicate racism and intolerance.
The initiative has been at the request of Íñigo Errejón, deputy of More Country.

“This episode is not an isolated case but a new example of a reality that has already been denounced many times: Marega, Kameni, Williams, Marcelo, Alves or Eto'o, among others, are some of the players who have suffered racist insults ”, states the declaration of Congress.
The parliamentary groups have also stressed that the agitation of hate “is not just a strictly sporting issue” and have highlighted the educational component of football: “From the football fields, the insults go to the schoolyards.
