Austrian player David Alaba, defender of Real Madrid, was named Austrian Player of the Year 2022.
The club's official website stated that the 30-year-old won the award after winning the local and European championships with Real Madrid last season, where he achieved the Champions League against Liverpool and the European Super against Frankfurt, while he won the Spanish League with Real Madrid.
Alaba leads his country, Austria, against its guest, France, on Thursday, during the fifth round of the group stage of the 2022-2023 European Nations League.
