Last summer, Maccabi Tel Aviv joined a distinguished list of international soccer clubs and professional sports organizations, when it became the first soccer team in Israel to sign with the Irish sports data and data processing company.
The company, founded in 2012 by physiotherapist Stephen Smith, uses a combination of data collected by devices in addition to human analysis, in order to assess risks in the area of injury prevention.

In the last few days, Richard Bairan, director of sports partnerships at Kitman Labs, and Jamie Schultz, senior consultant in the application of sports sciences, visited Maccabi's training complex in Kiryat Shalom, and completed the training for all of Maccabi's professional teams in order to fully utilize the capabilities of the system.
