The duel between SV Istiklal and FC Unterföhring II ended in a scandal.

Istiklal coach Bastürk does not want to let the allegations stand.

Munich – The abandonment of the game between SV Istiklal Munich and FC Unterföhring II is still making waves.

The duel in the Munich 2 district class was a few minutes before the end when the situation was broken off after being sent off at a score of 1:7 (4:0).

But what happened next, opinions differ.

SV Istiklal Munich: "It was a one-sided referee performance" - Bastürk criticizes Unterföhring

One thing is certain: SV Istiklal Munich was dissatisfied with the game management.

“It was a one-sided referee performance.

It was a young guy who couldn't handle it," says coach Saban Bastürk.

The player-coach himself received the yellow-red card in the 31st minute after picking up a yellow card just two minutes earlier.

It was then 0:2 for FC Unterföhring II

"My player was tackled hard.

The boy couldn't walk the next day, he needed a medical certificate."

Istiklal coach Saban Bastürk.

After that, FC Unterföhring played out its field advantage.

SV Istiklal Munich collected three more yellow cards and even a time penalty.

The key scene came in the 83rd minute.

"My player was tackled hard.

The boy couldn't walk the next day, he needed a medical certificate," says Bastürk, describing his view of things.

SV Istiklal Munich: Bastürk rejects allegations – the bottle was not thrown in the direction of Unterföhring

According to the referee, he then allowed himself to be carried away to an assault, the logical consequence: the next dismissal.

"Then there was a war of words between me and the player because I was annoyed about the red card," says Bastürk.

A few FC Unterföhring players then started to provoke, said Bastürk.

His player then took a drinking bottle and threw it on the floor in frustration.

"It landed on our side and arrived at the substitutes' bench," says Bastürk.

The Istiklal coach firmly rejects FC Unterföhring's allegations that the bottle flew in the direction of their bank.

"They want to talk their way out of it," he believes.

"Scenes like this don't belong on the soccer field.

Fortunately, nothing happened to anyone, ”said FCU trainer Stefan Behr after the game in the Munich Merkur.

FC Unterföhring could not be reached for further comment.

He cannot understand why the referee stopped the game, because SV Istiklal "rightly lost" in the end.
