Al-Thawra team defeated the Jordanian Orthodox with a score of 74-61 points in its second match in the Arab Clubs Basketball Championship for Women currently being held in Tunisia for the benefit of the second group.
Al-Thawra team lost its first match against Algeria's Kosidar, with a score of 61-53 points. Al-Thawra will meet Al-Hilal next Friday, and the first round will end with the Beirut sports meeting next Saturday.
The first group included the Tunisian Al-Amal Sports Clubs, the Emirati Sports Club Sharjah, the Algerian Al-Madina Al-Satafia, the Jordanian Al-Fuhais Youth, the Somali Mogadishu City and the Egyptian Smouha.
The tournament system stipulates that the first of the first group plays with the fourth of the second group, the second of the first group with the third of the second group, the second of the second group with the third of the first group, and the first of the second group with the fourth of the first group.
